INTER/SECTIONS Podcast
Inter/Sections is a podcast of Seton Hall’s Institute for Communication and Religion in partnership with the Journal of Interreligious Studies and Interreligious Studies Media, featuring conversations about the field, and spotlighting the ideas and practices of interfaith/interreligious scholars, educators, leaders, and community organizers.
Interreligious Studies Media has provided a Classroom Integration Toolkit for episodes in the form of two documents. The first is “For Teachers,” containing materials for educators who wish to assign this episode, paired with the article, in the classroom, such as discussion prompts and assignments. The second is “For Students,” a reading guide offering suggestions for how to read the article before listening to the podcast, discussion prompts, a Glossary of Terms, and further reading materials.

In this episode, Aseel Azab discusses her article, “Blessed Be the Strangers: An Islamic Ethical Framework for the Anthropocene,” with the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Interreligious Studies, in which it was published (Issue 45, Mar 2025: 37–70).
